Pepper Street Martini

Ingredients

  • 60ml Three Wrens Pepper Street Gin
  • 10ml Dry Vermouth
  • Ice cubes
  • Twist of lemon peel (for garnish)
  • Cracked black pepper (optional, for garnish)

Step-by-Step

  1. Chill your glass: Place a martini glass in the freezer or fill it with ice and water while you prepare the drink.
  2. Prepare the shaker: Add a generous handful of ice cubes into a cocktail shaker or mixing glass.
  3. Add the spirits: Pour 60ml of Three Wrens Pepper Street Gin and 10ml of Dry Vermouth over the ice.
  4. Stir well: Stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until the outside of the shaker or mixing glass feels very cold.
  5. Prepare your glass: If you were chilling your glass with ice and water, empty it now.
  6. Strain: Strain the martini into the chilled glass.
  7. Garnish: Twist a strip of lemon peel over the drink to release its oils, then drop it in. For an extra nod to the pepper in the gin, you can sprinkle a tiny pinch of freshly cracked black pepper over the top.
