Spicy Passion Gin Margarita Twist

Ingredients
- 50ml Three Wrens Passion Fruit Gin
- 25ml Fresh lime juice
- 20ml Triple sec (Cointreau or similar)
- 20ml Passion fruit purée
- 10ml Agave syrup (or runny honey if you prefer)
- 2 slices of red chilli (deseeded for less heat)
- Ice
- Optional: Chilli salt or Tajín for the rim
- Garnish: 1 chilli slice or a lime wheel
Step-by-Step
- Prepare the glass – run a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks glass or coupe. Dip into chilli salt or Tajín if you want a spicy edge.
- Muddle the chilli – in a shaker, lightly muddle the chilli slices with the agave syrup to release the heat.
- Add the rest – pour in the gin, lime juice, triple sec, and passion fruit purée.
- Shake it up – add ice to the shaker and shake hard for around 15 seconds.
- Strain and serve – fine strain into your prepared glass over fresh ice (or neat if you’re using a coupe).
- Garnish – float a chilli slice or pop a lime wheel on the side.
