Spiced Winter Sour

Ingredients
- 50ml Three Wrens Spiced London Dry Gin
- 20ml Fresh lemon juice
- 15ml Maple syrup (or honey syrup if you prefer)
- 15ml Egg white or aquafaba (for the classic sour foam)
- Optional: 1 dash aromatic bitters (like Angostura)
- Garnish: Grated nutmeg, orange zest, or a dried citrus wheel
- Ice
Step-by-Step
- Dry shake – add all ingredients to a shaker (without ice) and shake well for 10–15 seconds to build the foam.
- Add ice and shake again – shake for a further 15 seconds until well chilled.
- Fine strain into a chilled coupe or rocks glass – straight up or over a large cube of ice.
- Garnish – dust with a touch of grated nutmeg, or express an orange peel over the top for a warm citrus lift.
