Ingredients
- 50ml Three Wrens Original Dry Gin
- 25ml Fresh lime juice (or lemon if you prefer)
- 15ml Sugar syrup (1:1 ratio)
- 6–8 fresh mint leaves
- Ice
- Garnish: Mint sprig
Step-by-Step
- Lightly muddle the mint – in a shaker, gently press the mint leaves with the sugar syrup to release flavour (don’t bash them – you’re after aroma, not bitterness).
- Add the gin and lime juice – pour them into the shaker.
- Add ice and shake hard – shake for 15–20 seconds until well chilled.
- Double strain into a coupe glass – use a fine strainer to catch bits of mint and ice.
- Garnish – float a fresh mint sprig on top.
