Ingredients
- 50ml Three Wrens Passion Fruit Gin
- 25ml Passion fruit purée (such as Funkin or homemade)
- 15ml Vanilla syrup
- 15ml Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
- 30ml Pineapple juice (optional for extra juiciness)
- 1/2 fresh passion fruit (for garnish)
- 50ml Prosecco (served on the side)
- Ice
Step-by-Step
- Chill your glass – pop a coupe or martini glass in the freezer or fill it with ice water while you prep the drink.
- Add ingredients to a shaker – pour the gin, passion fruit purée, vanilla syrup, lime juice, and pineapple juice (if using) into a cocktail shaker.
- Add ice – fill the shaker with a generous amount of ice and secure the lid.
- Shake well – give it a good, hard shake for around 15 seconds. You’re looking for a frothy top and a well-chilled mix.
- Strain – double strain (using a fine mesh strainer) into your chilled martini glass to get rid of any bits of ice or pulp.
- Garnish – float half a passion fruit on top of the drink.
- Serve with Prosecco – pour 50ml of chilled prosecco into a shot glass or mini carafe on the side. The idea is to sip it alongside the cocktail.
