Ingredients
- 40ml Three Wrens Cold Pressed Coffee Liqueur
- 25ml Bourbon or a rich dark rum
- 5ml Chocolate syrup (or a bar spoon of crème de cacao)
- 2 dashes chocolate bitters (or classic Angostura if unavailable)
- Garnish: Orange twist, chocolate shaving, or coffee bean
- Ice
Step-by-Step
- Add all ingredients to a mixing glass – coffee liqueur, bourbon (or rum), chocolate syrup, and bitters.
- Fill with ice and stir – for about 20–30 seconds to chill and slightly dilute.
- Strain into a rocks glass – over a large ice cube or fresh cubed ice.
- Garnish – twist an orange peel over the glass to release the oils, and add a chocolate shaving or single coffee bean for a finishing touch.
