Lychee & Redcurrant Gin Sour

Ingredients

  • 50ml Three Wrens Lychee & Redcurrant Gin
  • 25ml Fresh lemon juice
  • 20ml Sugar syrup
  • 1 Egg white (or 25ml aquafaba for a vegan version)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh redcurrants or a lemon twist (for garnish)

Step-by-Step

  1. Prepare your shaker: Add the gin, lemon juice, sugar syrup, and egg white (or aquafaba) to a cocktail shaker. Do not add ice yet.
  2. Dry shake: Shake firmly for about 15 seconds to build a thick, smooth foam.
  3. Add ice and shake again: Add a handful of ice cubes and shake well for another 15 seconds to chill.
  4. Strain: Fine strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass.
  5. Garnish: Add a few fresh redcurrants or a twist of lemon peel on top.
