Key Lime Pie Gin Sour

Ingredients

  • 50ml Three Wrens Key Lime Pie Gin
  • 25ml Fresh lime juice
  • 20ml Sugar syrup
  • 1 Egg white (or 25ml aquafaba for a vegan version)
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime wheel or zest (for garnish)
  • Crushed biscuit crumbs (optional, for garnish)

Step-by-Step

  1. Prepare your shaker: Add 50ml of Three Wrens Key Lime Pie Gin, 25ml lime juice, 20ml sugar syrup, and the egg white (or aquafaba) to a cocktail shaker. Do not add ice yet.
  2. Dry shake: Shake hard for about 15 seconds to build a rich foam.
  3. Add ice and shake again: Add a handful of ice cubes and shake firmly for another 15 seconds to chill the drink.
  4. Strain: Fine strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass.
  5. Garnish: Add a wheel of lime or a little lime zest on top. For a playful touch, you can lightly rim part of the glass with crushed biscuit crumbs before pouring.
