Nick Wadeson

Nick Wadeson is the founder and master distiller of Three Wrens Gin, bringing over twenty years of hands-on expertise in spirits, mixology, and technical training to every bottle. After refining recipes and leading bartender and distiller workshops for global gin brands, he set up his own distillery in August 2019 amid the Cheshire woodlands.Nick marries traditional copper‑pot distillation with modern techniques such as ultrasonic botanical infusion and vacuum distillation to extract the maximum amount of flavour from each ingredient. With Nick’s expertise, Three Wrens Gin has won numerous awards, including 12 gold medals across the World Gin Awards and Global Gin Masters. Nick also achieved the UK’s Best Flavoured Gin at the Great British Food Awards for his pioneering Bison Grass Gin, a world first. In the same month, he was awarded the Guild of Fine Food’s Great Taste “Golden Fork”, widely considered the top prize in UK food and drink. These are both testaments to his unyielding commitment to quality in each small batch.Whether you're an occasional gin connoisseur or simply curious, his open‑door distillery tours and hands‑on gin-making workshops are an interactive, informative experience you won’t forget quickly.
