Ingredients

  • 60ml Three Wrens Exquisite Citrus Gin
  • 10ml Dry vermouth
  • 2 dashes of orange bitters (optional but recommended)
  • Garnish: Lemon twist or a thin grapefruit peel
  • Ice

Step-by-Step

  1. Chill your glass – pop a martini or coupe glass in the freezer, or fill it with ice water while you prepare the drink.
  2. Add ingredients to a mixing glass – pour in the citrus gin, dry vermouth, and orange bitters if using.
  3. Add plenty of ice – and stir for about 20–30 seconds. You’re after a well-chilled and slightly diluted drink.
  4. Strain into your chilled glass – use a strainer for a clean pour with no ice shards.
  5. Garnish – express a lemon twist or grapefruit peel over the drink to release the oils, then drop it in.
